CNC Machines
CNC Machinery is how the team is able to quickly make complicated parts. We use a CNC lathe, CNC Mill and CNC router to make our complecated parts. Our CNC machines use G-code generated from our part models to form tool paths and percisly make cuts and drill holes. Team 93 uses HAAS CNC machines, and parts are CAM'd in Inventor.
CNC Machine safety
The CNC mill is used to square material. We use it to make parts that either have a large quantity, or require a lot of detail. The CNC mill is more efficient then if you were to make the part manualy.
