Team 93 FABRICATION!

We are the most FAB-ulous functional group. on Fabrication we make parts into a reality. We use a combination of different machines and stock to make almost every part on the robot. Fab recieves the drawings that CAD makes from DOC controll, and then we make the part. We practice a style called lean manufacturing, where we try to make as little waste as possible. We also practice MLP and JIT manufacturing, Make it like the print and Just in Time. Fabrication checks all of the part drawings before they are sent out to assess manufacturability and check for print errors. All of our parts are acurate to five thou or .005 of an inch.
